parts of a tree and tree structure

The tree has got five layers.

🌲The first layer is called bark.🌳

The bark protects the tree from environmental influences, such as strong sunlight, cold, heat, fungal and insect infestation.
🌳The second layer is called bast🌲

The bast or inner bark supplies the tree with nutrients. The bast dies relatively quickly and turns into cork and then into bark.

🌲The third layer is called cambium.🌳

The cambium is a thin cell layer, which is actually the growing part of the tree. This is controlled by plant hormones, which are formed in spring in the leaf buds of the branch tips. bark and wood.

🌳The fourth layer is called sap wood.🌲

The sap wood represents the water pipes of the tree, which sweetens the crown space. With the formation of new sap wood rings, the inner rings lose their function and become heart wood.

🌲And the most inner layer is called heart wood. 🌳

The heart wood is the main element of the tree. It may be considered as a support framework consisting of hollow, needle-like cellulose fibers held together by chemical glue, lignin.  🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲

project day diary

Yesterday, on September 25th we had our school-project-day.
At first we had ex-cathedra teaching about the history of trees.
After this we did worksheets about how we can find out how old things are.
For example: It is possible to find out and proof the age of items and also trees.

At the end of our school day we met another teacher and two other parents who talked about our garden project.
In  this project we had the task to renew our available garden to get a retreat or playground for us and the other older kids.
This garden is also a place were we can plant trees and flowers to get fruits from the trees and to have a beautiful time in the garden.

To sum up, yesterday we learned many things about the past and how we know when things happened.

Our excursion to Marz (Burgenland)

Hi there!

Yesterday our school was in Burgenland on a nice excursion!
We learned a lot about trees, plants, animals and the whole forest.
🌲🌹🍂🌳
At first we took the bus to Marz. We met our guide at the park and then we went
into the forest. When we were in the woods he explained many interesting
things about nature and wildlife. Then we acted out a little theater about the role of the wood. Later we went to a campfire place and grilled sausages. 🔥🍴
After this little break we played a game called "Zombie Catching".
That was very funny!😀 At last we went into a small room where we
talked about the animals which live in the forest.🐗🐰🐜🐛

We had a great day!
😎😜😉

we're working hard on our lexical notebook "blogging"

It's all about blogs today...
Did you know that the word "blog" is a combination of web and log?
No? I didn't either 😀

Here are some facts and information I've learned today:

Do you know what a blog is?
a blog is a public diary online

There are lots of different types of blogs:
travel blogs
animal blogs
food blogs
beauty blogs
gaming blogs
health blogs
v-logs

what is a viral blog or viral video:
A viral blog or viral video is when I share a blog/video with my friends and my friends share it with their friends.
The blog/video spreads fast, everywhere... it goes viral...

🌴🌳🌲🌴🌳🌲🌴🌳🌲🌴🌳🌲🌴🌳🌲🌴🌳🌲

This is our first blog entry 💪💚

We are 7 students from year 8 and 7 and we will cover our
semester topic "adventure forest" via this blog.

This blog will be updated on a regular basis throughout the next few months.
We will improve our writing and IT skills and we hope you'll like our posts.
